After you create an account with Tablescraps, you can start your free trial. With that free trial, you can use Tablescraps to monitor the book stats for your book on every one of the book site platforms that we support. If you're the visual sort, here's a quick two-minute video that shows you all the steps.
If you prefer to read, here's a quick breakdown of the process, step-by-step:
After you create your account and validate your email address, you can start your trial. No credit card is required. You just need to click the Start Trial button and then confirm by clicking the second Start Trial button on the next page that comes after that.
With your trial started, you can add your book by clicking Add Book.
Give your book a name. I tend to default to using the book's title, but you can technically use any name you want. You also have the option of uploading a custom cover image for your book. If you don't have that image, that's OK. You can actually choose your book cover image from one of your book sites once you add it.
With your book added to Tablescraps, you can add your first book site. In this example, the book site is Amazon. If you use the web address (URL) for your book's page on Amazon, Tablescraps figures out the addresses for all the other Amazon markets that have your book.
That's it!
Tablescraps now has a first collection of data for your book. And now it's added to the queue of book sites that it checks each day. If any of your stats change, Tablescraps updates them and sends you a notification via email. And at this point, you technically never have to come back to the Tablescraps website again. All of your updates come right to your inbox for you to review at your leisure. That way you can keep your mind on more important tasks, like writing your next book!
